Flipping the Bird-Call Name: Maverick

Maverick is a mild-mannered, athletic dog with a lean build and exceptional obedience. He boasts a remarkable natural pointing instinct and hold, traits inherited from his sire, Riden High Rudy of Riden High Kennels in Arizona, who has an impressive 17 AKC recognized field titles, including NGDC, GFC4, FC, and AFC. Like his brother Tex, Maverick quickly responds to commands. In everyday life, he serves as a watchful protector, showcasing a stoic posture, soulful eyes, and a delightfully goofy personality. His strong build and excellent structure are evident in all of his pups. While he enjoys the water, Maverick truly shines on land. Currently he is working on scent training, a sport inspired by professional detection dogs. Dogs have an extraordinary sense of smell—up to 100,000 times better than ours—making them natural experts at scent work!
Maverick is truly the blessing we never knew we needed. After the heartbreaking loss of our boy Tex, we eagerly embraced the chance to welcome his brother. Born just a month after we lost Tex, Maverick was the only male in the litter. It feels like he was destined to be ours, and we are incredibly grateful to have him as a part of our family.

Charlie is a true South Dakota Duchess, hailing from Missouri River Kennels in the heart of South Dakota's pheasant country. With a strong prey drive and all the instincts necessary for trailing blood, locating birds and recovering game, she’s a natural retriever both in and out of the water.
As a flushing dog, Charlie excels at locating game birds and encouraging them to fly out of the brush, making them easier to hunt. Her personality is as BIG as Texas—she's wonderfully talkative and captures the hearts of everyone she meets. Charlie also serves as the peacekeeper of our household, using her maternal instincts to protect and diffuse potential conflicts. However, don’t be fooled; she has a competitive spirit a country mile wide, especially when it’s time to retrieve! Between litters, Charlie enjoys participating in dock diving lessons with her boy, Goose.
Charlie is an excellent mother, and our bridge between the past and present carrying on the gene pool of our treasured boys Tex & Maverick.

You may recognize this handsome young fella from our TopDog litter. Yep, this is Payback, the fastest little wiggle butt this side of the Rio Grande! This sweet boy stole our hearts and found his way into our home forever. As a puppy, Goose was a late bloomer but in no time he caught up and is ceasing to impress. As a teenager, Goose exhibits the best of both his parents with Maverick’s long legs and muscular build, Charlie’s nose & her love of water PLUS the grit, determination & drive we saw in his Uncle Tex. Goose is extremely competitive and often beats the other dogs when retrieving. He’s obsessed with birds, and water in any shape or form and loves long runs. With his muscular haunches and mad hops it’s no surprise that he took to Dock Diving after just two lessons. As members of North America Diving Dogs, we're excited to announce that at his very first competition Goose earned his Dock Master title! During the off season, we're focused on building his confidence, fine-tuning his dock handling skills, and improving his jumping distance.
When he’s not going 100 mph, he can be a silly “goose” like his dad and a total snuggle bug like his momma…and he’s still got that over active wiggle butt & happy doggy smile on his face.
Lady Raben-Valentinstag-Call Name: Valentine

Valentine or Valley, is the newest and youngest member of our pack. Valley is from Alvarado Farm’s Kennel in San Antonio, Texas. With her “Heritage” lineage from both her Dam and Sire we expect her to be a long-legged muscular girl loaded with natural retrieval instincts and the powerful endurance GSPs are known for.
This raven beauty is sure to steal your heart and probably your snack! Valley is still very young and finding her place in the pack, but expresses the strength to assert herself and the knowledge to know when to back down. Already we see her dad’s mild temperament and the attentiveness of her mother shining through. Valley also seems predisposed to the water and is quick to let us know when it’s approaching feeding time. When it’s bedtime, she quickly makes her way under the covers making sure her hoomans stay toasty warm all night.
Valentine is currently enrolled in her first obedience class, working toward earning the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. The CGC program, created by the AKC, promotes responsible dog ownership and encourages training well-mannered dogs. It's a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog, and TTR GSP TopDog highly recommends this program for all of our pups.
Lexi Packs a Punch-Call Name: Lexi

Meet Lexi, the OG of our pack! We adopted her from a rescue group while living in Phoenix, AZ, and true to my husband’s words, Lexi picked me right from the start! When we first brought her home, she was terrified of men, filled with anxiety, and scared of her own shadow. But with patience from my husband, our two sons, and the help of our old lab, Riley, and puppy, Tex, Lexi slowly learned to play and, more importantly, to trust people.
Though she’s still shy around new people and dogs, once she knows you, she’ll give you a playful sucker punch just to remind you it's her turn for attention! Lexi is the heart of our pack, always keeping the boys in line, especially when we have a litter. She gently shows the new pups there’s a hierarchy in place—no matter how cute they are, they’re still at the bottom! On our off-leash walks, she leads by example, setting the standard for the younger dogs to follow. She's been the most loyal companion, and we couldn’t imagine our pack without her!

Meet Remi, TTR's first guardian female, a shining example of everything a German Shorthaired Pointer is celebrated for! From her superb build to her affectionate and family-oriented nature, Remi sets the standard for excellence in our pack.
With her elegant frame, athletic lines, and striking coat, Remi is the epitome of the breed’s beauty and purpose. Her powerful yet graceful movement speaks to her incredible versatility, whether she’s sprinting through open fields, diving off a dock, or lounging at home with her loved ones. She has also excelled in scent trailing classes, showcasing her remarkable intelligence and natural instincts. Remi embodies the ideal balance of strength and femininity, showcasing a physical structure that is not only a testament to the breed’s hunting roots but also to the dedication of TTR's breeding program.
