Maverick possesses an unwavering natural point and hold, a testament to his exceptional lineage. His sire, Riden High Rudy is a decorated field champion with 17 titles, including NGDC, GFC4, FC, and AFC. Like his brother, Tex, Maverick has a quick, reliable response to commands and an innate drive that makes him a force in the field.
While Maverick enjoys the water, his true brilliance shines on land, where his keen nose and sharp instincts set him apart. Currently, he is focused on scent training, a skill inspired by professional detection dogs. With a dog's sense of smell being up to 100,000 times stronger than ours, Maverick is a natural at scent work, showcasing determination, focus, and problem-solving skills in every session.
Beyond his working abilities, Maverick is also the gentle guardian of our home. With his stoic posture and soulful eyes, he watches over his family with quiet confidence. Yet, despite his serious side, he has an endearingly goofy personality that keeps us smiling. He is known to stand on his back legs to look you eye to eye, a signature Maverick move that highlights his curiosity and connection with his people. A true Velcro dog, he is fiercely loyal to his dad, though mom is an acceptable substitute. As the alpha of our pack, Maverick exerts control with nothing more than a low, authoritative grumble, effortlessly maintaining order without unnecessary conflict.
Maverick has been issued a CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number, signifying that he has met the comprehensive health testing requirements recommended for German Shorthaired Pointers. This certification ensures that Maverick has undergone thorough screenings for breed-specific health concerns, including hip and elbow dysplasia, cardiac evaluations, and eye exams. By obtaining his CHIC number, Maverick exemplifies our commitment to breeding healthy, well-structured, and genetically sound dogs.
Maverick is truly the blessing we never knew we needed. After the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Tex, we were given the opportunity to bring home his brother. Born just a month after Tex’s passing—and as the only male in his litter—it felt like fate. Maverick was meant to be ours, and we are forever grateful to have him as part of our family and breeding program.

Charlie is a true South Dakota Duchess, hailing from Missouri River Kennels, deep in the heart of South Dakota’s pheasant country. With an unwavering prey drive and keen instincts, she is a natural-born hunter, excelling in trailing blood, locating birds, and recovering game. Whether in the field or in the water, she is fearless, determined, and relentless in her pursuit.
As a flushing dog, Charlie is second to none—she locates game birds with precision and has an impressive soft mouth, ensuring a clean retrieve. Her adept swimming skills make her just as powerful in the water as she is on land, making her an invaluable partner on any hunt. When she’s not working, Charlie has a BIG Texas-sized personality—she’s wonderfully talkative, and her endearingly sweet eyes captures the hearts of everyone she meets.
At home, Charlie takes on the role of peacekeeper, using her maternal instincts to protect, nurture, and diffuse conflicts within the pack. But don’t let her gentle side fool you—she has a competitive spirit a country mile wide, especially when it comes to retrieving! Whether she’s in the field or training in dock diving alongside her son, Goose, she gives it her all.
Charlie also has an endearing habit of collecting "treasures"—if you’re missing a shoe or sock, check with Charlie! She’s just as likely to bring in stray leaves from outside or, on occasion, a small critter. But at the end of the day, she’s a true cuddle bug, happiest when she’s curled up on your lap or tucked under the covers for the night.

Goose, the fastest little wiggle butt this side of the Rio Grande—was destined to be part of our family from the start. You may recognize this handsome young fella from our TopDog litter—originally named Payback, he stole our hearts and found his way into our home forever.
As a puppy, Goose was a late bloomer, but once he caught up, he never looked back. Now, as a teenager, he showcases the best of both his parents—Maverick’s long legs and muscular build, Charlie’s incredible nose and love of water, plus the grit, determination, and drive we saw in his Uncle Tex. He’s extremely competitive, often outpacing the other dogs when retrieving, and he’s absolutely obsessed with birds and water in any form. With his powerful haunches and mad hops, it’s no surprise he took to dock diving after just two lessons.
As a member of North America Diving Dogs (NADD), Goose made a splash in his very first competition, earning his Dock Master title! In the off-season, we're focused on building his confidence, fine-tuning his dock handling skills, and increasing his jumping distance—and with his unmatched drive and stamina, we have no doubt he’ll keep soaring to new heights.
When off-leash, Goose has incredible recall—whether his nose is to the ground tracking a scent or he’s running full speed chasing birds, every move he makes is full of purpose and intensity and he’s always quick to respond to commands. Out of all our dogs, Goose is the most attentive off-leash, a testament to his eagerness to please. He is truly a natural athlete and hunter, always working, always focused, and always ready for the next challenge.
Goose has cleared all of his OFA testing with the exception of hips and elbows, which will be completed in April once he turns two. This handsome boy will be bred with Remington High Society early this summer, and we can't wait to see our lines continue on.
When he’s not going 100 mph, Goose can be a total snuggle bug like his momma and a goofy, happy-go-lucky pup like his dad. That overactive wiggle butt and infectious doggy smile never fade, reminding us every day why he’s such a special part of our pack.
Lady Raben-Valentinstag-Call Name: Valentine

Meet Valentine, or as we lovingly call her, Valley—the youngest and newest member of our pack. Hailing from Alvarado Farm’s Kennel in San Antonio, Texas, Valley carries Heritage bloodlines from both her dam and sire, promising a long-legged, muscular frame, natural retrieval instincts, and the endless endurance that makes the GSP breed legendary.
This raven beauty is as charming as she is spirited—and if you're not careful, she’ll steal your heart…and your snack! While still young and finding her place in the pack, she has already shown a confident yet respectful nature, knowing when to assert herself and when to step back. Valley is highly communicative, making sure we know when dinnertime is approaching or when there’s a squirrel in her yard that must be chased. She’s also quite the little lap dog, politely asking for attention with a paw and sprawling across as many laps as possible during TV time. At night, she’s the first to burrow under the covers, claiming her cozy spot for bedtime.
Valley is already showing a strong love for water, always the first to splash in a puddle or roll in the mud. We can’t wait to introduce her to swimming once the weather warms up and start her on dock diving—something we suspect she’ll take to naturally. Off-leash, she stays within eyesight and is quick to respond to recall, demonstrating early obedience and attentiveness.
When she runs and plays with the other dogs, she leaps like a gazelle and pounces like a kitten, moving with a natural grace that’s captivating to watch. She is quickly finding her stride and can nearly keep up with the boys, making it clear that she’ll be a powerhouse in the field. When it comes to retrieving, her competitive drive grows stronger each day, proving that she’s just as determined as she is athletic.
Valley is currently working toward earning her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, an important step in responsible dog ownership and a testament to her intelligence and trainability. We’ve also enrolled her in conformation training, so stay tuned to watch this stunning girl grow into her potential!

Lexi Packs a Punch-Call Name: Lexi

Meet Lexi, the OG of our pack! We adopted her from a rescue group while living in Phoenix, AZ, and true to my husband’s words “the dog will pick us”, Lexi picked me right from the start! When we first brought her home, she was terrified of men, filled with anxiety, and scared of her own shadow. But with love and patience from my husband, our two sons, and the help of our old lab, Riley, and puppy, Tex, Lexi slowly learned to play and, more importantly, to trust people.
Though she’s still shy around new people and dogs, once she knows you, she’ll give you a playful sucker punch just to remind you it's her turn for attention! Lexi is the heart of our pack, always keeping the boys entertained, especially when we have a litter. She gently shows the new pups there’s a hierarchy in place—no matter how cute they are, they’re still at the bottom! On our off-leash walks, she leads by example, setting the standard for the younger dogs to follow. She's been the most loyal companion, and we couldn’t imagine our pack without her!
