At The Tipsy Rabbit, every stage of a puppy's journey has a purpose. From the day they're born until the day they leave for their forever homes, each experience is thoughtfully designed to help prepare them for a lifetime of adventure—whether that's in the uplands, on the dock, along the hiking trail, or curled up beside their favorite people at the end of the day.
Rather than simply raising puppies, we're intentionally preparing them for the world they'll soon discover.
Every Experience Has a Purpose
The first eight weeks of a puppy's life lay the foundation for everything that follows.
That's why every Tipsy Rabbit TopPup is raised in our home through a structured early development program that encourages confidence, resilience, adaptability, and a love of learning.
Our puppies grow up surrounded by everyday family life. They experience children, adult dogs, our resident cat, household sounds, visitors, new environments, and age-appropriate challenges designed to help them become well-rounded, confident companions.

Building the foundation
As our puppies grow, they progress through carefully planned stages of development designed to nurture both their minds and bodies.
Throughout their first eight weeks, they experience:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
Gentle daily handling
Confidence-building enrichment
Age-appropriate socialization
Noise conditioning
Exposure to a variety of surfaces and environments
Outdoor adventures and novel experiences
Positive interactions with children, adult dogs & our resident cat
Problem-solving activities & confidence obstacles
Each activity is introduced at the appropriate stage of development, allowing every puppy to grow at their own pace while building the confidence to embrace new experiences.
Learning begins early
We believe learning should begin long before a puppy heads home.
By introducing simple routines and foundational skills early, we help make the transition into family life smoother for both puppies and their new owners.
Before going home, our puppies are introduced to:
Litterbox training
Early potty routines
Crate and kennel exposure
Clicker conditioning

Preparing for Go-Home Day
By the time puppy send-off arrives, every TopPup has received comprehensive veterinary care and the resources needed for a successful transition into their forever home.
Each puppy goes home with:
A complete veterinary examination
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Parasite screening and prevention
Prepaid AKC registration
Microchip enrollment
Complete veterinary records
A thoughtfully prepared starter kit to help families begin their journey with confidence
