Welcome to the Dakota Legacy Nursery page — your front-row seat to a story rooted in heritage, shaped by generations, and now coming full circle at Tipsy Rabbit. Nelli and Jett Jr. are preparing to welcome our Dakota Legacy litter, and with every little roll and wiggle beneath Nelli’s belly, the anticipation grows. Soon, a new generation of tiny tails will make their entrance — carrying forward a history that began long before them. This space is where you’ll follow their journey from those first heartbeats through their biggest milestones — the all-nighter that welcomes them into the world, first wiggles, puppy piles, opening eyes, wobbly steps, and all the little moments in between. This litter feels especially personal. Nelli was born right here at Tipsy Rabbit, a daughter of our foundational pair, Charlie and Maverick. Now we get to watch her become a mama herself and carry the next generation forward alongside Jett Jr. — honoring where we came from while looking forward to what comes next. Thank you for joining us as the story unfolds. The next chapter of the Dakota Legacy is about to begin…and we can’t wait to meet the little ones who will carry it forward.
One Last Run Before Motherhood.

With whelp day just around the corner, Nelli enjoyed one last hoorah before settling in and preparing for her biggest adventure yet — motherhood.
Her belly may be bigger than usual and her usual athletic stride has definitely slowed down, but she was thrilled to get out and stretch those legs. She can still stop and turn surprisingly quick — just not quite on a dime these days! Tail high, ears (and udders) bouncing, she soaked up every bit of freedom and fresh air before heading home to her waiting whelping box.
There’s something especially sweet about watching a girl we raised right here at Tipsy Rabbit stand on the doorstep of becoming a mama herself. Soon, those little rolls and wiggles we’ve been feeling will become the next generation of tiny paws carrying her legacy forward.
For now, our girl got one last run.
The Nursery Is Ready.

The nursery is officially ready for our Dakota Legacy litter. The whelping box is built, the blankets are tucked in, and everything we’ll need to welcome Nelli’s babies into the world is standing by.
As a first-time mama, Nelli may not know exactly what all this preparation means just yet, but she’s been busy investigating her new space, giving everything a thorough sniff and making herself comfortable as we count down these final few days.
There’s something especially full-circle about preparing this space for Nelli. Not so long ago, she was one of the tiny Tipsy Rabbit puppies we were preparing a nursery for. Now, we’re getting ready to watch her step into the whelping box as a mama herself and welcome the next generation.
The supplies are stocked, the nursery is quiet, and the whelping box is waiting. Soon, this peaceful little space will be filled with tiny squeaks, puppy piles, and a brand-new chapter of the Tipsy Rabbit story.
A New Generation Is on the Way!

Nelli’s pregnancy is confirmed and we spotted lots of little heartbeats on her ultrasound! 💕🐾 Our Dakota Legacy litter, Nelli × Jett Jr., is due around September 30th.
There’s something extra special about watching one of our own Tipsy Rabbit girls prepare to become a mama and carry the next generation forward. Thank you for being part of the journey — the countdown to whelp day is officially on, and we can’t wait to meet these little legacies!
