Bold steps, blooming personalities, and a perfect Match Day!

Week Four brought big changes for our little Legends as they transitioned from formula to puppy mush and now wet kibble—messy faces and GSP trembles included! Their puppy teeth are coming in strong, litterbox training is well underway, and they’re spending their days in the great room soaking up family life (with plenty of supervision from Mama Charlie, Maverick, and of course, Nicky Cage the tuxedo cat who refuses to believe he’s anything but a dog).

Personalities really came to life this week, and we’ve given each pup a fitting “title” as they grow into their legendary selves:

Each pup is developing such a beautiful blend of confidence, curiosity, and connection—traits we love to see at this age.

This week also marked one of the most exciting milestones of the entire journey: Puppy Match Day! All ten families were successfully paired with their perfect little Legend, and the joy on every side of this process made the day truly special. We couldn’t be happier with how seamlessly each match came together.

BIG Transformations

December 6, 2025

The last few days have brought some of the biggest transformations yet in our Legends & Lore litter. It’s as if each pup woke up and decided to step a little further into their story. Tiny teeth are erupting, puppy play is now intentional, and the whelping box is filled with miniature wrestlers, pouncers, and tail-wagging explorers discovering their voices.

This week also marked their first taste of puppy mush — a legendary milestone in its own right. Every single pup dug right in, proving that great appetites run strong in this crew. It’s a messy, hilarious endeavor, but the kind where big gains and even bigger personalities shine through. Their faces may be covered in mush, but their enthusiasm is unmistakable.

The pups are increasingly seeking out attention, leaning into hands and soaking up every bit of love offered. They’ve outgrown their newborn world — quite literally — as the whelping box has “shrunk” overnight. With the litter box now in place, their space is divided into exactly what they need at this stage: a place to sleep and a place to potty. More independence, more structure, more steps toward becoming the confident companions they’re destined to be.

Days are now spent in the living room alongside the rhythm of everyday family life. Very soon, these little Legends will graduate to their x-pen setup, giving them more room to stretch, play, and practice their budding coordination.

And now… we turn the page to one of the most anticipated chapters of their journey: Puppy Match Day!

In just a short time, families will discover which little Legend will join their home and write the next part of the story with them. It’s a moment filled with excitement, connection, and the kind of magic only puppies can spark.

Our Legends are growing, changing, and stepping boldly into who they’re meant to be — and their greatest adventures are just beginning.

Legends on the move!

December 2, 2025

Week Three has arrived, and our little Legends suddenly look like real puppies! Their eyes and ears are fully open now, and the whelping box has officially transformed from a sleepy newborn nest into a tiny world of wobbly walkers, curious noses, and early playfulness.

The pups are growing fast — rounder, steadier, and noticeably more coordinated each day. We will be introducing puppy pads this week, and they’re already beginning to understand the space around them. Alfalfa litter trays are next as we gently build early potty habits. This is also the week their teeth start pushing through, which means we’re seeing more mouthing, chewing, and adorable “practice bites” as their gums get sore. Puppy mush is right around the corner!

Personalities are starting to peek through in the sweetest ways. A few pups are becoming little explorers, checking out every corner of the whelping box with determination. Others are perfectly content to nap in a cozy pile, soaking up warmth and comfort from their littermates. Voices have appeared too — tiny barks, soft grumbles, and sleepy squeaks as they learn to express themselves.

Daily handling continues to be a huge part of our routine. Every pup is now comfortable being held like a baby, receiving tummy rubs, ear & foot massages, and gentle chin scratches. They’re spending more daytime hours in the living room now, snuggled up with Mama Charlie on the big dog bed, soaking in the rhythm of household life. Little June Bug even made her way off the rug and onto the cool tile floor after nursing — the first tiny adventurer to do so this week.

As we move toward Week Four, the pace will quicken: louder play, stronger movement, true puppy mush meals, and better glimpses of who each pup is becoming. The nursery is buzzing with life, and the joy of watching these Legends grow is something we treasure every single day.

Another week down… and the adventure is just getting started.

Eyes Open, Hearts Full

November 25, 2025

Our little Legends have made big strides this week! Their eyes are now fully open, giving us the sweetest glimpses of bright, curious faces. Ears are beginning to open too, and they’re starting to react to sounds and movement around them.

We’re also seeing the first signs of wobbly walking as they transition from scooting to taking their early, unsteady steps. Their ticking is coming in beautifully, and their features are changing almost daily as they grow stronger and more expressive.

The pups soaked up lots of extra love from our nieces and nephews this week, settling easily into little hands and laps — perfect early socialization. Mama Charlie continues to be an incredible mother, patient and attentive as her biggest litter yet starts to explore their world.

As we head into Week Three, things will get even more exciting: stronger movement, little voices, and the earliest sparks of personality.

These tiny legends are officially on the move, and we can’t wait to share what comes next.

The Legends & Lore litter is officially 10 days old, and we’ve reached some huge milestones in the nursery!

All ten puppies have now doubled their birth weight, officially joining the 2-pound club and growing stronger every day. Their little bodies are filling out, their movements are more purposeful, and they’re getting around the whelping box with much more confidence.

And the biggest moment of all…

Their eyes are starting to open! 👀
This week's TopPup glow-up goes to Reba, who surprised us by opening her eyes big and bright before anyone else—like the little star she is! Jinks followed with a one-eye wink, Cash with tiny almond slivers, and the rest of the crew is right behind them as the world begins to come into focus.

At this stage, we’re seeing wobbly steps, soft squeaks, and those early glimmers of curiosity as light and movement catch their attention.

ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) are going beautifully, and each puppy is responding in their own special way—some calm and observant, others busier and more expressive.

Mama Charlie continues to be Super Mama Extraordinaire, keeping everyone fed, clean, and comforted 24/7.

The next chapter begins now: more awareness, more mobility, and a whole lot more adorable moments ahead. Stay tuned—these little legends are just getting started. 🌙

The Legends Take the Stage

November 18, 2025

🧡 Jinks — the firstborn of our Legends & Lore litter. He’s a sturdy, handsome boy with  a solid liver head and markings that already remind us of his dad, Maverick, as a pup.  🖤 Cash — our dark liver, handsome fella with a solid head, a left elbow patch, and a partial sleeve on his front right leg that’s sure to turn heads wherever he goes.  💛 Lainey — our half-white, half-liver ray of sunshine with a beautiful solid liver head and a dusting of white on her nose. ❤️ Elvis — Elvis sports a small blaze on his head and an assortment of liver patches, including one shaped like a rubber ducky! 🩷 Dolly — a gorgeous all-white girl with a solid liver head and a delicate blaze. She strongly favors her grand sire, Riden High Rudy, and we can’t wait to see her grow into that legacy. 💙 Strait — Strait features a solid liver head and striking patches, including a sweet liver-and-white split near his tail. 💜 June — the most colorful of the girls, with beautiful liver patches, a small blaze, and a marking that mirrors her mama, Charlie.  🩶 Waylon — a handsome little lover boy with a heart-shaped marking that suits his affectionate nature. He has a small white brush mark on his forehead that will likely fade and distinct liver patches along his right side. 🩵 Reba — this little lady is a mover and a shaker! The largest of the females at birth, she has a solid liver head with a tiny dot of liver on the right and a small patch on the left 💚 Hank — the final pup to join the Legends & Lore tour and the biggest at birth. He has a small blaze and several lovely liver patches, including a classic elbow patch.

Charlie’s rocking motherhood like a true headliner, and her ten tiny legends are thriving! Each pup now has their official stage name and color and we can't wait to spotlight each of them as they grow!

Strong Start in the Story of Legends & Lore

November 14, 2025

Today was a big (and slightly stressful) day for Mama Charlie and our little Legends — it was vet visit day for tail docking and dew claw removal.

Being away from her babies is always hard on Charlie. We walked her around outside to help her relax, but she was laser-focused on getting back to her babies. Inside the exam room, she kept her eyes on the door and tilted her head at every little puppy squeak she heard. 

The pups all did great and are perfect according to our vet! Today’s “Puppy Glow-Up” goes to June, who stayed completely chill through the whole process — way to go, little June Bug! 

Everyone is now back home, cozy in the whelping box. Charlie is eating three hearty meals a day — complete with scrambled eggs, a protein powder, and a nursing supplement (usually served “in bed” since she hates leaving her babies). She’s also enjoying her favorite ice cubes to stay hydrated.

Nine pups gained weight overnight and one held steady — all wonderful signs that Charlie is being an exceptional mama.

11•11 The Legend Begins

November 11, 2025

There’s something serendipitous about this date — 11•11, a number that symbolizes alignment, intuition, and new beginnings. And today, under that very energy, our girl Charlie whelped her Legends & Lore litter.

The whelping box is warm, quiet, and glowing with that unmistakable calm that comes when a mama settles into her rhythm. Each tiny life entering the world feels like a story waiting to be told — threads of legacy, loyalty, and love woven together from generations that preceded them.

Charlie is doing beautifully, tending to her new arrivals with the grace and confidence that comes only with experience. Maverick’s mark is already visible in the balance, strength and bright white coats of these little legends — strong, steady, and full of promise.

It’s always incredible how quickly the nursery transforms on whelp day: from anticipation to awe, from waiting to wonder. Today marks not just the birth of puppies, but the continuation of a legacy — one that runs deep in our Tipsy Rabbit story.

Stay tuned as we count, cuddle, and celebrate each precious pup. Their names, tales, and temperaments will unfold in the days ahead — but for now, we’re simply soaking in this magical moment where Legends are born and stories begin.

The stage is officially set for our next legendary litter. The whelping box is built, tucked in, and proudly approved by the whole crew — Mama Charlie, Papa Maverick, and little sister Valley, who all gave it their curious sniffs and tail wags of approval.

Charlie wasted no time making it her own. With her favorite blankets tucked inside, she circled, pawed, and settled in with that content “this will do just fine” look only an experienced mama gives. She knows what’s coming, and she’s more than ready to nest away in comfort as we count down these last few days.

Everything is in place, the room is calm, and Charlie is relaxed and preparing in the way only a seasoned mama can. The next chapter is almost here — and this legendary litter has their stage ready.

One week from today is Charlie's due date and this morning was her last big run before settling in for whelping, and she soaked up every second of it. Even with her belly leading the way and her stride a little slower, she kept up with her pack like the experienced mama she is. Tail high, ears (and udders) bouncing, and that unmistakable Charlie grin — she was absolutely in her element.

She may be carrying a full belly of little legends, but she still moved with confidence and purpose, enjoying the freedom of the field and the company of her crew. Watching her run today was the perfect reminder of who she is at her core: strong, steady, joyful, and always ready for the next chapter.

This mama’s still got it — and the countdown continues.

Charlie’s pregnancy is confirmed and we spotted lots of little heartbeats on her ultrasound! 💕🐾 This legendary pairing between Charlie x Maverick is due around November 12th. Thank you for being part of the journey — the countdown to whelp day is officially on—and we can’t wait to welcome them!
