We’re thrilled to share that Remi and Goose’s litter made their grand entrance in the early morning hours of Friday, July 25th. We welcomed 5 bouncing boys and 3 beautiful girls, and 24 hours in, we’re happy to report that both mama and pups are thriving. Summit in Sight!

Our little trekkers have reached the 7-week milestone, and what a climb it has been! From their first wobbly steps to confidently exploring the world around them, each day has brought new growth, discovery, and adventure. Their energy, curiosity, and budding personalities are shining through, reminding us that these pups were truly made for the trail ahead.
As they near the summit of their journey with us, the next chapter is in sight. Soon, we’ll pass the leash to their new families, where the adventure continues—new mountains to climb, new memories to make, and new bonds to be built. While it’s always bittersweet to let go, it’s also the most rewarding part of the journey: knowing that each TopPup is headed off to a life filled with love, purpose, and endless possibility.
Here’s to the Peak Pursuit litter—proof that every step of the climb is worth it, especially when the summit is in view.
Summit Prep in Action: Sit!
September 6, 2025
Our Peak Pursuit trekkers are getting closer to the summit of their journey—and this week’s training milestone is one of the most important: mastering the sit command.
With the help of treats, patience, and their eagerness to please, these smart little pups are learning that “sit” is the key to all sorts of good things: mealtime, playtime, and even extra snuggles. What looks like a simple skill is really the start of something much bigger—teaching them manners, building focus, and setting the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Every day we see their confidence grow as they respond faster and hold their sits longer. Their tails may still wag a mile a minute, and we may even have a few jumping beans, but their ability to pause, listen, and respond shows just how ready they are to keep climbing toward the summit.
Only a short stretch remains before they’ll set off on their next big adventure—heading home with their forever families. For now, we’re soaking up every moment of progress, proud of how far they’ve come and excited for all the peaks they’ll conquer in the future.
Climbing Higher: Week 6 Milestone at the Vet

Our little trekkers have officially hit the 6-week milestone—and what a week it has been!
This week marked a big adventure: the pups received their 6-week health check-up. Each one got the VIP (Very Important Puppers) treatment, earning an A+ from the vet. Strong, healthy, and thriving—just what we love to see as they continue their climb toward the summit.
Skills in Progress:
Name Recognition – Most pups now turn their heads (and wiggle their tails!) when they hear their names.
Mastering Sit & Shake – Treats have unlocked their inner scholars, and they’re quickly catching on to these early cues.
Crate Training – Sessions are ongoing, helping them learn independence, patience, and the comfort of their own space.
Every step, every milestone brings us closer to that joyful day when these Peak Pursuit pups set out on their greatest expedition yet: life with their forever families.
Milestone: Outdoor Adventure the crux of our journey
August 29, 2025
This week marked a big milestone—puppy picks are complete, and everything worked out beautifully! Each family found their perfect match, and now we’re calling the pups by their chosen names to help them build familiarity before heading to their forever homes. It’s amazing how quickly they perk up when they hear their names already!
The adventurers also had their first big outdoor trek, where they explored new textures underfoot, climbed landscape rocks with fearless curiosity, and discovered the world is full of exciting challenges. Clever little climbers wasted no time in finding the weak spot in our play yard—don’t worry, it’s reinforced now!
This week also brought the introduction of kennels, laying the foundation for crate training that will serve them well as they transition into their new homes. From here on out, we’ll be layering in basic obedience with clicker training, focusing on sit, shake, kennel, and other confidence-building commands.
We’ve reached the crux of our journey—that critical point where all the early work begins to take shape. The pups are bold, bright, and brimming with personality, and we can’t wait to show them off as they conquer their next challenges one paw step at a time!
Milestone: Halfway to the Summit Week 4
August 22, 2025
This week has been such a joy—the puppies are now 4 weeks old, and their little personalities are bursting to the surface. What was once a sleepy bundle of newborns is now a lively crew of adventurers, each one starting to show us who they’re meant to be. Their eyes are bright, their legs are steady, and their hearts are already full of spirit. Here’s a glimpse into who they’re becoming:
💙K2 – The Velcro Voyager Big-hearted, purposeful, and always by your side. Loves snuggles and happily drifts off in your arms. ❤️Crux – The Bold Explorer Fearless and determined, first to climb out of the play yard, vocal and playful but always a big lover. 🖤Ridge – The Class Clown Curious, quick, and mischievous—always investigating and making us laugh. A true goofball cuddler. 💚Rocky – The Patient Gentleman, cool, calm, collected, and clever. Observant and thoughtful, already mastering the litterbox. 🧡Andy – The Thoughtful Heart Gentle, sweet, and steady. Once the smallest, now catching up fast—attentive and a true snuggler. 💜Sierra – The Fearless Trailblazer Bold, confident, and adventurous. Alpha energy, quick to explore, and always on the move. 🩷Everest – The Gentle Charmer Sweet, snuggly, and playful with a gentle touch. Blends beautifully with all her littermates 🩵Aspen – The Confident Cutie, calm yet playful, with her grandsire’s confidence. A snuggler who also keeps up with the big dogs.
It’s amazing to see how much this crew has grown in just four weeks. With family visits and puppy picks underway, the journey to their forever homes is getting closer—and we can’t wait to see each pup matched with their perfect family!
Milestone: Base Camp Buzz Week 3
August 15, 2025
Our tiny trekkers have officially hit the 3-week mark, and the trail just got lively. In the last 48 hours we’ve seen a burst of “base camp energy”: Ears are open, tiny teeth are starting to peek through, and they’re navigating the larger space with growing confidence. Wobbles are turning into purposeful steps, and the first play bows, nose boops, and sibling pounces have begun—mini mountaineers testing their footing. 🏔️🐾
We’ve also started quiet visits, which the pups handle beautifully between their long nap cycles and short active windows. Thank you, families, for leaning into the calm, clean, and germ-smart protocol—every careful step helps these explorers thrive.
From here, the views get better by the day: more coordination, more curiosity, and more personality popping through. Little pinnacles, big hearts—Week 3 feels like the moment the horizon really opens up.
Milestone: Eyes on the Summit
August 11, 2025
Eyes wide open and our little adventurers have found their legs! Personalities are really starting to emerge, and we’re already seeing some fun and unique traits in these pups. Here’s a little update on a few of the personalities we’ve picked up on in these two short weeks:
Crux❤️ – Naturally energetic, Crux’s drive is coming through strong! He’s quick to sniff out mama’s milk and isn’t afraid to steal a nipple from one of his siblings. The most vocal boy of the bunch, Crux is independent but still a lover at heart.
K2💙 – K2 is alert and responsive, and this big boy has an equally big heart. He’s already walking and knows exactly where he’s headed! He loves a good snuggle but also enjoys his independence.
Ridge🖤 – Ridge may be small, but he’s mighty! If he could run, he’d be all over the place! Already showing his love for humans, Ridge is the true Velcro dog. He takes his nuzzling in your neck very seriously, always seeking out affection.
Andy🧡 – Pure heart in this little guy! Andy is walking like a champ and loves to snuggle up in a warm spot. But when he’s ready to move on, he’ll let you know! And he’s not shy about telling you when it’s time for a meal either.
Rocky💚 – Rocky is the chillest guy in the bunch, super easy-going and sweet. He’s a lover but has no problem being independent and laying by himself. Already walking incredibly well, Rocky is often found at the top of the dog pile, taking it all in stride.
Aspen🩵- our quiet, independent, lover and burrowing queen! She is sweet, gentle, and already loyal! She takes snuggling very seriously!
Sierra💜 - this little independent lady is a go getter! She is fast and has an incredible nose already! She can sniff mama out even when she’s sound asleep! Although she seems pretty independent, she loves to snuggle in your neck and smell you!
Everest🩷- she has grown leaps and bounds and is walking like a champ! She has no problem laying by herself but also loves to nuzzle and feel safe! She’s affectionate and already loves to give kisses!
These little adventurers are growing fast and starting to show their unique personalities. We can’t wait to see how they continue to develop over the coming weeks!
Milestone: Eyes on the Summit
August 8, 2025
Two weeks old today, and our tiny mountaineers are officially opening their eyes to the world around them. Little glimpses of light, movement, and each other are just beginning to register—and it’s pure magic. Their ears will be tuning in next, and soon the den will be filled with even more adorable grunts, squeaks, and curious little growls.
They're beginning to find their legs, clumsily navigating their newly expanded terrain like true explorers-in-training. Wobbles have replaced wiggles, and watching them learn how to move with purpose is like witnessing the first steps on a well-planned trail—unsteady but full of promise.
Their journey is just beginning, but the instincts are already kicking in. There's a certain spark in their tiny eyes now… as if they already know they were born for bigger things.
Here’s to another week of growth, grit, and tiny adventures underfoot. The summit is still far off—but oh, the views along the way!

It’s hard to believe the Peak Pursuit crew is already 1 week old—but that’s the beauty of the journey: it moves fast, and we fall in love even faster. 💗
Everyone is gaining weight, scooting around the whelping box like seasoned little trekkers, and nursing like champs. K2 and Sierra are currently leading the pack as our heavyweight hikers—never missing a stop at the milk station! Thankfully, Remi’s milk supply is flowing strong, and all eight pups are thriving on the trail.
Next up on their adventure: eyes and ears will begin to open, giving them a whole new perspective on the world—and once that happens, the pace picks up fast. Get ready for wobbly steps, curious noses, and the start of true Peak Pursuit exploration!
Trailhead Milestone: First Vet Visit Complete!

First Vet Visit: Check!
The Peak Pursuit pups took their very first field trip today—for tails and dewclaws—and handled it like tiny pros! It was a big afternoon full of lots of TLC from our amazing vet team.
Mama Remi also got a wellness exam and earned an A+—she’s healing beautifully and doing a fantastic job caring for her crew.
These little adventurers are already checking milestones off the list, and we’re so proud of how well everyone is gaining weight and thriving. Onward and upward from here!
Basecamp: Pups Arrival
July 25, 2025
After days of prep at Whelping Basecamp, Remi's first pup arrived in the early hours of Friday morning, July 25th—and the adventure officially began!
As a first-time mama, Remi handled whelping with the grace and instinct GSPs are known for. From her calm demeanor to her attentive care, her natural maternal instincts kicked in beautifully, and she navigated the entire experience like a seasoned pro. After delivering her first five pups, she took a well-deserved rest before pushing on to welcome three more beautiful pups, completing her crew of eight tiny mountaineers.
The first 24 hours have been peaceful and full of quiet bonding. Remi has been resting comfortably and getting to know her pups, while we’ve been absolutely smitten watching this little pack settle in.
Everyone is thriving—and this journey is just beginning.

Whelping Basecamp: Assembled
July 23, 2025
We’re officially in the final countdown — Remi is less than a week away from her due date, and the Peak Pursuit pups are on the move! You can see and feel those little adventurers stretching and squirming as they get ready to make their grand debut.
Mama-to-be is doing great: resting, nesting, and getting all the extra belly rubs she can soak up. We’ve got the whelping area prepped and our supplies stocked — now we wait (impatiently) for these tiny trailblazers to arrive.
